Learning Outcomes
To present the production process and presentation of artwork as a unity. How to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary art through the act of the workshop to meet the demands of modern art, social and cultural context. How to develop professionalism in free artistic practice, technical skills and production organizational skills in order to respond adequately to the level of the different application fields of visual arts that arise. The students must have the capacity to implement and find solutions to their creative ideas, experimental methods and conceptual proposals. To have the ability to negotiate and argue individual/team level. To understand the recruitment relationships and host of artwork from different viewers Content of perceptual capacity in which each project can be developed To acquire the ability to do research and gain familiarity with the language, materials and tools of visual arts The ability to act and link their personal work and group activity The ability to work and take effective practical application with morals, economy and implementation of health and safety rules. Course Content (Syllabus)
PAINTING 5 - Cycle (1/4) of deepening and searching the personal style of the students of the 5th Painting Studio, as well as of the visual means and techniques. This cycle concerns the studio research and the teaching of the artistic search of the students which is completed in four semesters, Painting 5 to 8. The "Painting 5" of the 5th Painting Studio concerns the 1st Semester out of the total of four of the cycle. The students are invited by the supervising teachers to conduct their personal artistic research, as well as exercises of specialized technical and morphological knowledge of the materials (textures, materials, constructions, ready mades, etc.) As they take part in projects with thematic or conceptual content. Also taught and researched at a theoretical and technical level the possibility of using individual or combined visual media, such as painting, construction, digital image, multimedia, etc. Conceptual and theoretical research arising from artistic – studio practice. Introduction to exhibiting and presenting students artwork. Students are also invited to record and present in text their thoughts on their involvement during the art process. At the tutorial level, digital image processing programs are taught according to the level of knowledge of each student. As face-to-face laboratory research and teaching focuses on students' particular abilities, the duration and content of the exercises potentially specializes accordingly.

Projections for teaching the course, make use of design programs by computer. Access available for students interested in using the Computer Labs 5th Painting Art Studio for artistic work (first floor of the Art Studio building). Recommended visit through the web to major galleries, museums etc.
