Learning Outcomes
Drawing courses taught in the first year of the Studio aim at equipping students with knowledge and methodological tools that will lead them gradually:
-Develop Skills in the handling of classic media.
-Connect the student’s preparation for entering the Department and introduction to the subject of study of the Studio
-Ability processing a visual idea or impression of reality with simple means.
-Ability integration of form and content of their artistic product so as to have artwork claims
- Familiarization of the terminology of visual arts at technical and theoretical level
-Development of imagination and creativity for the technical implementation in their work.
-The ability to organize, establish and communicate via the "language" of the visual arts, visual representations and representations meet expressive in individual and social perceptions.
Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Drawing exercises with physical models (nude model) with various media (coal, ink, acrylics, pencil, etc.) design exercises with natural and unnatural pattern, extended concept of the project, special exercises on grays, exercises with Indian ink. Studio practice through perceptual and representational theories. This course pronounced except background course in direction studio and practice Program Pedagogical and Teaching Proficiency (PPDE) of the Department.
2. As in all semesters of the 5th Studio, field trips made, visits to museums, galleries, collaboration with other Studios as with the Department's photography laboratory. Also collaboration with other Departments of the School of Fine Arts and organization of scientists and artists lecture on specific issues and thematic exhibitions of undergraduate students.
