Use of ICT
  • Use of ICT in Course Teaching
  • Use of ICT in Laboratory Teaching
  • Use of ICT in Communication with Students
Description
Teaching is carried out on the blackboard, in combination with the projection of prepared slides from the computer and selected videos from the internet. The students use IT to search for information on topics they work on and present to the class, using international databases and search engines. Communication with the students is facilitated by the resources provided in the e-learning website of the module.

Student Assessment
Description
Student evaluation is based on a formal written exam at the end of the semester. Alternatively 50% of the final module mark can be based on the assessment of individual topics students choose to undertake, research them and present them to the class in the form of half an hour oral presentation. During the semester, numerous exercises are given to the students. They are answered / solved by the contribution of the whole class and their role is to solidify the theorerical knowledge and to apply it in specific practical problems rather than to formally assess the students.
Student Assessment methods
  • Written Exam with Multiple Choice Questions (Summative)
  • Written Exam with Short Answer Questions (Summative)
  • Written Exam with Extended Answer Questions (Summative)
  • Performance / Staging (Summative)
  • Written Exam with Problem Solving (Summative)
