Learning Outcomes
After the succesful completion of the course, the students are expected to understand and learn fundamentals, methods and applications of photointerpretation-remote sensing, with emphasis in photointerpretation of analogic and digital image and in digital image processing with the use of suitable software.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Fundamentals. Remote sensing data acquisition: photographic systems, electron imagers, scanning systems. Thermography. Remote sensing microwave systems. Land observation satellites. Image study: image interpretation, issues of image interpretation applications, digital image processing.
