Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be knowledgable about:
1 – The etiology of human diseases.
2 – The mechanisms of evolution (i.e., the pathogenesis) of diseases.
3 – Basic morphologic changes (gross and microscopic changes) in tissues and organs in various diseases.
4 – The molecular changes that cause the diseases.
5 – Basic laboratory methods with usefulness in diagnosis and research.
