Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of the course the student will:
1. understand the need to constantly redefine and adapt the educational process to the rapid pace of technological development
2. be familiar with a variety of new technologies, able to choose the appropriate tools and to exploit the potential and the benefits of New Technologies for the desired learning outcomes
3. have understood the possibilities of NT for enriching the learning process and daily work
4. have developed a range of digital skills to plan and implement activities that make use of NTs, and be able to combine digital tools and to compose or create digital materials
5. be able to critically evaluate the potential ethical and socio-political implications of NT, and to monitor and follow current developments in the field and international standards.
Course Content (Syllabus)
You will find this course extremely interesting if you want to be informed about the continuous developments of new technologies (NT) and digital materials and to familiarize yourself with a variety of tools so that you can use them effectively in the context of physical education and sports, teaching, assessment, management, communication and professional development.

1. Introduction. Technology in physical education & adapted physical education.
2. Technologies for classroom and group management.
3. Communication technologies.
4. Technologies for education in teaching and health education.
5. Technologies for motivation.
6. Technologies for lifelong health and physical well-being.
7. Addressing special needs and abilities through technology.
8. Online instruction and remote supervision.
9. Wearables and other forms of technology for assessment.
10. Transmission technologies, digital recording, and video editing.
11. Technology for professional development.
12. Review and presentation of projects.
13. Review and presentation of projects.
Description
Methods of detection and access to internet sources, Multimedia Applications, virtual classes, Learning Management System (LMS), Open Educational Resources, ZOTERO, mindmaps, PE apps, simulations and games, extended reality, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, wearables, monitors and trackers, Design of educational interventions, Scenarios of activities using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Physical Education (PE).
