Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of this course, the students are expected to:
- familiarise with the core concepts of Epidemiology,
- understand the steps in designing a research protocol,
- understand the literature search methodology and the principals of critical appraisal of research papers,
- familiarise with the differents types of research studies,
- understand the methodology of sampling,
- understand how to choose and evaluate a questionnaire from the international literature and recognise the tests of reliabilty and validity,
-understand the core concepts of biostatistics and practice in using the statistical program jamovi to perform parametric and non-parametric tests in statistical data analysis.
