Learning Outcomes
After the successful examination of the course the students will have the basic knowledge on linear algebra of vector spaces and matrices, matrix diagonalization and linear systems, as well as analytic geometry.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Vector spaces and vector calculus - inner products, cross products, mixed products, linear independence and basis. Linear transformations - polar and spherical coordinates. Matrices and matrix calculus - determinants - eigenvectors, eigenvalues and diagonalization. Linear Systems of equations - homogeneous and inhomogeneous systems. Analytic geometry. Conic Sections (ellipses, hyperbolas, parabolas)

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of the student is being carried out by the final examinations that counts 100% on the final grade. There is a bonus of 10% through optional excersices. If the students want they can participate in a mid term examination that is carried out remotely through e-learning and with multiple choice questions that counts for 30% of their grade (if they receive above 1,5). If they decide to keep this result then the final examination counts 70%.
