Course Content (Syllabus)
Εισαγωγή στην Οικολογία Εντόμων, βασικές έννοιες, ορισμοί. Δομή και λειτουργίες του οικοσυστήματος, Οικολογία θρέψης των εντόμων και άλλων αρθροπόδων. Ενδοειδικός και διειδικός ανταγωνισμός. Στρατηγικές αναπαραγωγής των εντόμων. Επίδραση της θερμοκρασίας στην ανάπτυξη και αναπαραγωγή των εντόμων. Έντομα και Φυτό ξενιστής. Αλληλεπιδράσεις φυτού-φυτοφάγων εντόμων. Μετανάστευση και διασπορά εντόμων. Πληθυσμοί και παρουσία εντόμων και σχέσεις με περιβάλλον. Φωτοπεριοδισμός σε έντομα και ακάρεα. Βιολογικοί ρυθμοί. Χημική οικολογία σε έντομα και ακάρεα. Φυσικοί εχθροί εντόμων και βιολογική καταπολέμηση. ΄Εντομα και κλίμα. Βιοποικιλότητα και διατήρηση πληθυσμών. Εξελικτική οικολογία εντόμων.
