Learning Outcomes
The students are expected to know the basic physical therapy principles and tools used in the treatment, rehabilitation, reactivation and prevention of the most common sports injuries and ailments within the framework of the course. Also, working with physical therapists and medical specialists, they can design or supervise programs for the prevention, rehabilitation and reactivation of athletes in various sports injuries and diseases.
Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Physiotherapy method, before, between and after exercise.
2. Increasing the range of motion of the joints.
3. Evaluation of athletes with physical therapy method – practical application.
4. Application of functional splints, orthotics and functional bandages to athletes.
5.Practical application in the prevention and rehabilitation of athletes' lower limbs with functional splints, orthotics and functional bandages.
6. Practical application in the prevention and rehabilitation of the upper limbs and trunk of athletes with functional splints, orthotics and functional bandages.7. Designing a physiotherapy rehabilitation and reactivation program for athletes
8. Physiotherapy – rehabilitation and reactivation of shoulder injuries in athletes
9. Physiotherapy treatment – rehabilitation and reactivation of sportsmen's knee injuries
10.Physiotherapy – rehabilitation and reactivation of ankle injuries in athletes
11. Physiotherapy treatment for Backache-Sciatica
