Upon successful completion of the course, students will: - Know the theoretical and practical basis of town planning and implementation acts, as a tool for spatial planning. - Learn about the current Greek legislation. - Practice in town planning problems. - Practice in solving implementation acts.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction. Elements of the Civil Code - The role of legal concepts and the civil code in Settlement plans - The rights in rem. Land parcels - Property titles - Land Registry. Settlement plans and applications. Summary of the Greek legislation. Examples from Greek reality. The concepts: street layout, building line and block. Town planning and layout plans. Minimum planning permission in Greece. Implementation acts.
