Learning Outcomes
AIM: This unit aims to analyze the Greek and international sport tourism market, its trends and perspective, and discuss the impact of sport tourism on the economy, tourism development, society and environment. At the end of the unit, students should be able to • Understand the sport tourism market and its trends • Understand the positive impact of sport tourism development on society, economy, and environment, within the sustainability principles • Use consumer behavior data on segmenting sport tourism market • Design synergies of sport tourism development at a strategic level • Apply sport marketing principles for the sport tourism development • Apply service quality model on sport tourism programs • Apply service quality models of evaluating programs
