Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course students will have acquired a wide knowledge base on cognitive communication disorders related to mild and major neurocognitive disorders and their impact on functional communication. The course will also cover rehabilitation methods related to neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders and research methods in the field

Course Content (Syllabus)
Course lectures will cover definitions / description of communication and functional communicatio, neuropathological mechanisms in cognitive communication disorders, MCI, Mild and Major Neurocognitive disorders and their impact on functional communication, AD, FTD, Huntintons disease, Down Syndrome and demebtia, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Cognitive Communication disorders.
