General Prerequisites
Translation and familiarity with the use of computers as well as with internet browsing. Familiarity with translation tools.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: 1: develop familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools; 2: edited machine translation outputs 3: they have theoretically and practically understood the concept of translation memory 4: have developed through the use of the computer the skill of collecting corpora of spoken text 5: they are able to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of machine translation
