6. The period of iconoclasm. Sources
7. Schisms between the East and West Churches. Sources
8. The position of the Byzantine emperors in the Church. Sources
9. The reign of Justinian. Sources
10. The Crusades, with emphasis on the fourth. Sources
11. Latin domination in Greece. Sources
12. The empire of Nicaea and the dominions of Epirus and Mystras. Sources
13. The conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks. Sources
