Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired the ability to: -know the necessary electronics theologicals databases necessary for the successful completion of their Master thesis - Be familiar with bibliographic research and the necessary bibliographic citation tools - avoid plagiarism - be familiar with the basic theological principles of the interpretation of doctrinal texts, in particular the development of Christological terminology

Course Content (Syllabus)
Scientific research at the postgraduate level, theological electronic databases and then the precise formulation of the Christological doctrine through the texts of the great fathers and ecclesiastical writers in the 4th and 5th centuries are at the heart of this postgraduate course. The course is structured according to the following research and teaching design: Units 1-6 Research Methodology (in cooperation with the specialist Stratos Mouratidis and the professors fr B. Georgopoulos and M. K. Bozinis): 1. Academic requirements of a Master thesis. The research of the title of our Master thesis. Avoiding copying. 2. Presentation of electronic databases (access through the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). 3. Presentation of theological databases I. 4. Presentation of theological databases II. 5. Critical editions of patristic texts - electronic sources of critical texts 6. Bibliography-Electronic tools for bibliography 7. Introduction to research with special reference to the theological area of History of Dogmas in early Christianity. Assignments. 8. The philosophical background. 9. Basic theological principles of interpretation of doctrinal texts I (Charismatic and scientific theology). 10. Basic theological principles for the interpretation of doctrinal texts II (Christological terminology). 11. Textual Analysis I. 12. Textual Analysis II. 13. Presentation of some papers - Critical commentary
