Through sources and bibliography, students grasp the most important events that marked the history of the Church during the 4th century, understand the factors of developments and work creatively through the works they compose.

1.The Church during the last persecution. 2.Religious and metaphysical systems of the third and fourth centuries. 3.The conversion of Constantine 4.The christianised imperial idea of Eusebius of Caesarea. 5.The Church and the christianized Roman Empire 6.The pagan reaction with Julian. 7.Christianity as the official State religion. 8.The spread of Christianity. 9.The confrontation with the old religions. 10.The formation of the first byzantine culture. 11.Arianism. The 1st Ecumenical Council. 12.The first confrontations with the State and the Second Ecumenical Consil. 13.The ecclesiastical organization.
