Course Content (Syllabus)
Subject, fundamental axioms and division of mechanics. Forces, moments,charging. Composition and balance of forces, static moments and centre of gravity. Isostatic carriers, fundamental principles of material strength, moment of inertia and moment of resistance. Calculation of stress and strain (elongation), shear , Bending of rectangular section. Basic Structural design principles and methods. Reinforced concrete and timber structural members for forest technical works.

The achievement of learning objectives are evaluated on the following basis: 1. Theory lectures and written examination. 2. Exercises laboratories with compulsory presence. The final grade is appointed by the following weighting: 1. Submission of laboratory exercises 30% 2. Written theory examination 70% The evaluation results are in the relevant page of MODIP
