Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have acquired knowledge about means and production technologies, properties and uses of wood products such as engineered products (posts, stakes, sawn timber, parquet flooring, wood veneers), composite products from veneers, chips, fibers (plywood, LVL, laminated wood, chipboard, fiberboard, OSB) as well as other composite products. They will also have acquired knowledge about wood improvement technologies (impregnation, drying, chemical - thermal - mechanical modification, shaping, densification, etc).

Course Content (Syllabus)

Description
The evaluation is based on the written examination of the course at the end of the semester. The final exam includes short-answer questions from the course material. The final grade of the course, will only be uploaded upon successful attendance of the lab courses according to the requirements uploaded on the course page (e-learning).
