Course Content (Syllabus)
The individual items covered are:
1. Principles and multidimensional nature of the QoL/Health subject
2. Feasibility of the interdisciplinary utilization of Technology, and the Arts in/for Quality of Life
3. Applications of the Performing Arts in areas of QoL/Health: Mental health, sensory-cognitive problems, physical problems (e.g. rehabilitation in stroke, heart diseases, etc.)
4. QoL/Health issues of the artists: specializes the (relatively) new subject of Performing Arts Medicine in the art of Music, addressed, of course, to students, educators and professionals in the field of Music (e.g. . instrumentalists, singers, sound engineers, sound engineers, producers, managers, etc.). The field of knowledge of Medicine of Musicians has as its object the information, prevention, and treatment/treatment of problems arising from the practice of Music, such as musculoskeletal diseases, neurological diseases, hearing and voice problems and disorders, psychological issues, fatigue, pain, eating disorders, etc.
5. New Communication, Interaction and Intelligent Support Technologies,
a. Biofeedback
b. Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR)
c. Intelligent systems and QoL/Health
with a focus on Music/Performing Arts, in actions such as:
i. Participatory Arts Programs
ii. Arts on Prescription
iii. Fine Arts Therapies
iv. Arts in Health and Care Environments
v. Artists' Medicine
6. Research (methodologies, institutions and support framework) in the field of Technology, QoL/Health, Arts
