Learning Outcomes
On completing this course students will
- have obtained basic knowledge about different literary genres
- be acquainted with the critical evaluation of translated literary texts
- be able to translate a short literary text (prose, poetry and drama) from English into Greek, respecting the semantic, linguistic and stylistic content
- have obtained knowledge about descriptive analysis of the problems and their hypothetical solutions encountered in the translation of literary works
- be able to defend through argument the translation options effected
