Learning Outcomes
Education of morphology of permanent and deciduous teeth, dental terminology according to FDI system and tooth eruption. At the end of the lessons the students should be aware and able to describe the differences between permanent and deciduous teeth, upper and lower teeth and left and right teeth. They also should be able to recognize the teeth and to reproduce their morphological characteristics in wax and on paper.

Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Lectures: - Introduction to Dental Morphology - Terminology - Categories of teeth - Eruption of teeth - Morphology of permanent maxillary and mandibular incisors - Morphology of permanent maxillary and mandibular canines - Morphology of maxillary and mandibular premolars - Morphology of permanent maxillary molars - Morphology of permanent mandibular molars - Guidelines for the laboratory excercises - Morphology of upper deciduous teeth - Morphology of lower deciduous teeth - Differencies between permanent and deciduous teeth 2. Laboratory exercises - Wax carving of permanent teeth - Partial crown reconstruction of permanent teeth - Identification of human permanent teeth 3. Homework - Drawing of all permanent teeth
