Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is conducted in the combined form of seminars and laboratory research and aims to familiarize students with the contemporary understanding of Painting that is essential in visual art research. The student is provided with the know-how so that at the end of the semester he/she will be trained in the exploration of artistic research, in terms of the vocabulary of painting (spot, line, form, colour) as it appears in well-known works of art history, old and contemporary, in painting, engraving, sculpture, new media. He is also given the opportunity to comment on the exercises in order to acquire the ability to produce experimental artistic proposals. The course directs the education and research of the students, providing them with the tools to enhance their expressive ability.
