Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- ensure the balance of carriers in plane problems
- calculate the distribution of internal loading of bars in trusses, due to their external loading
- draw cross-sectional load diagrams in two-dimensional problems
- find normal and shear stresses in beam bending problems
- solve simple continuum mechanics problems in one and three dimensions
