By the end of this course, students are expected to have reached the following goals: 1 be able to recognise emergency conditions in ophthalmology 2 have practiced taking history and performing a basic examination in a patient who presents with an urgent ophthalmological problem 3 be able to triage emergency conditions in ophthalmology 4 have practiced providing measures for managing emergency conditions in ophthalmology

Description
Evaluation of students will take place at the end of the semester based on a written examination in the form of multiple choice questions. A student must have attended ≥80% of theoretical and practical sessions to qualify for participating in the final exam.
