Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will know the initial and periodic control of people engaged in exercise, clinical controls and examinations before participation in sports activities and competitions, as well as the provision of medical assistance to athletes of each sport, they will know how to propose measures for the prevention of chronic diseases caused by a sedentary lifestyle, they will be familiar with rehabilitation after sports injuries, they will have gained knowledge about athlete nutrition, nutritional supplements, drugs, drug testing and gender verification with the complex ethical, legal and medical issues this entails, will be familiar with special medical issues concerning athletes participating in international sporting events, including disabled athletes or PWD athletes as well as the effects of travel and acclimatization, will have gain knowledge relevant to the exercise of people with chronic conditions such as bronchial asthma, diabetes mellitus and others, they will be able to offer advice on maximizing sports performance, the scientific basis of training control, initial talent selection and youth sports orientation.

Functional Anatomy of Exercise, Physiopathology of Exercise, Applied Hygiene in Exercise, Acute and Chronic Sports Injuries, first aid on the playing field, Doping – Toxicology, Exercise Cardiology, Exercise Pulmonology, Exercise Urology, Brain injuries, Facial and eyes injuries, Emergency Medicine – Anesthesiology – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Descriptive Behavior of diseases and injuries of athletes, Effect of Exercise on children, Diabetes Mellitus and exercise, Obesity and exercise.
