Course Content (Syllabus)
Rangeland use, carrying capacity, rangeland production improvement. Range relationships with domestic and wild ungulates. Planning procedures, conditions and economic impacts of grazing management systems. Grazing projects development. Rangeland policy. Ecosystem services of rangelands. Rangeland condition and rangeland health. Determination of quantitative and qualitative parameters. Inventory. Sowing and Fertilization. Improving the conditions and the feeding of animals in rangelands. Restoration of disturbed rangelands. Pastures, sumplementary pastures and fodder crops.
