Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able: - to search for, download and process any kind of multimedia material, using specialized software - to use the edited files in the production of teaching material for teaching (language or any other object), - to create online learning or knowledge control / assessment interactive exercises (for use in language learning or any other subject) using specifically designed software or online services, - develop small-scale websites and integrate linguistic (or other) interactive exercises into them, - exploit the above materials in classroom

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course deals with the production and editing of multimedia material as well as with interactive exercises software and online interactive language production services for the Internet. Topics covered are: - the production and editing of multimedia teaching materials using specific software (Image, audio and video editing software), - the basic principles of creating closed and open interactive exercises using specialized software - creation of interactive quizzes (multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises) for the World Wide Web, - integration in web pages using Web authoring software.

Description
Evaluation is done by continuous assessment during the semester. Students must deliver papers or projects assigned to them individually or -sometimes- in groups. The evaluation criteria are technical excellence, scientific / theoretical support, originality and completeness / variety of content. Works submitted to the teacher may be returned to the students -if needed- with comments and instructions for further corrections or improvements.
