Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: - understand the physiological function of the heart - understand the physiology and pathophysiology of microcirculation - familiarize with the physiology of the respiratory system - liaise physiologic principles with clinical manifestations of cardiac, circulatory and respiratory disease.
