Course Content (Syllabus)
Elongation, Bending and Torsional Stress of materials. Hardness measurements. Composite stresses- Strain gauges. Fatigue- Impact and Buckling. Non destructive tests -Photoelasticity. Ultrasound measurments

Student Assessment
Description
Four (4) laboratory exercises accounting for 30% of the final grade and a final written examination accounting for 70% of the final grade. The laboratory exercises are obligatory. Each exercise has to be presented in report form and is examined orally. The grades from the exercises is added to the final grade only if the final written exam grade is greater than the basis of 3.5/7.
