Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to the concepts of geodiversity and geoconservation. International and National Context. Geoparks : European and National Network-Examples of Exploitation. History of Natural History Museums, modern N.H. Museums. Management and use of museum collections in taxonomy, use of electronic databases (NOW, WoRMS, Fossilworks...). Museological and educational approaches- perspectives. Palaeontology and Material Culture.
