Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is the understanding of the characteristics of the foreign language in terms of morphology, syntax, semantics and vocabulary in order to avoid mistakes resulting from interference with mother tongue.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of the course is to study the similarities and differences of the French and Greek language and to familiarize students with the basic principles of Contrastive Linguistics. The comparison of these two languages concerns the levels of linguistic analysis. Students investigate how corpus-based tools can be applied in a teaching and learning context of a language.
