Course Content (Syllabus)
Aim of the course is to understand and explain the economic situation in Greece in the period 1920-1940
Contents:
1. The impact of the refugees inflow from the Asia Minor in 1922 on the economic structure of Greece (agriculture, industry,and services)
2. Public finance and inability to pay the debt in 1932
3. The economc Crisis of 1929 in Greece
4. Monetary policy
5. Structural modernization of the Greek economy
