Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students: - will be able to recognize the main directing trends and the most important creators from the First World War until about the 80's. - will have understood the historical development of the art of directing in relation to the wider socio-political developments - will be able to recognize and demonstrate the influence of great creators on contemporary directing.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This is the second part of the course SCENATURAL WAVES IN EUROPE which is offered in two semesters. The second part first of all offers the student the opportunity to acquire a concise diagram of the development of directing on the European and modern Greek stage, from the interwar period to the 1980s. nd, secondly, it aims to familiarize the student with the most important artistic trends in the field of directing and with the work of the leading directors of the above period.
