Learning Outcomes
This course is a continuation of the post graduate course “Basic statistical methods for treating empirical data”. A basic knowledge of statistical methodology applied in psychological research is required. The aim of the course is to broaden students’ knowledge in advanced and specialized statistical methods. The target is to enable students to choose and apply the appropriate methods for dealing with demanding research problems in the frame of any type of research work.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Statistical analysis of complex experimental designs using ANOVA models. Logistic regression. Principal component analysis and exploratory factor analysis. Introduction to structural equation modeling (SEM). Application of advanced statistical methods using statistical software.
