Student Assessment
Students' assessment is made through written examinations at the end of the course where two (2) weighted multiple choice scales are used. The first scale evaluates their knowledge of six (6) contemporary environmental issues (Greenhouse effect, Acid Rain, Ozone layer depletion, Ecological Footprint, Energy Footprint, Water Footprint) and the score they accrue corresponds to the 40% of the total scale (0-4). The second scale evaluates their learning on key aspects and themes of EE/ EA, as well as on teaching and evaluation issues from the same field. The score on this second scale corresponds to the remaining 60% of the total score (0-6). The total score of each student is derived from the sum of the grades collected in the individual scales.
