The cource requires physical attendance. Exersices that are not executed during the class are not accepted.
Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course, students will learn about creativity techniques of pre-visualization and storyboarding. Furthermore, students will be able to perform linear architectural and freehand design.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on previsualisation (previs) and storyboarding. Previsualisation is the visualizing of scenes or sequences in a movie before filming. It is a method used in several creative arts, such as animation, performing arts, video game design, and advertising. It involves various techniques such as storyboarding. Storyboarding consists of illustrations or images, text and symbols displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture. Furthermore, the course deals with the development of architectural linear and freeform design, so as to become able to fulfil the expectations of set design and costume design.

Description
Student evaluation includes: • The artistic interpretation and expression, the knowledge of the conditions and contexts that accompany the set design and costume design proposal. • The quality of the research. • The quality of the design • The final presentation and submission of the work at the end of the semester. The final grade is determined: 1. by 50% of the quality of the final work 2. by 50% of the participation. *Participation in practical sessions and tutorials is obligatory
