After completing the course students will
• know and comprehend the multiplicity of sociopsychological theories that explain the prosocial behavior of individuals and groups
• know the research methods used by social psychology to approach prosocial behavior of individuals and groups and the ways research findings are applied
• be able to design and contact their own research on voluntary and prosocial interventions
• be able to connect theory with research and applications of social psychology,
• adopt a critical lense that is capable of identifying both the potential and prospects of this connection as well as its dilemmas and deficits.
