After successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
• Correctly define the anatomy of the central nervous system.
• To understand the basic principles of neuro-physiology.
• To understand the environmental effects on the Nervous System.
• To assess the risks of heavy metals on the nervous system.
• To evaluate the effect of atmospheric air pollution on the nervous system.
• To understand Alzheimer's Disease, from the point of view of progression, prevention and treatment.
• To understand Parkinson's Disease, from the point of view of progression, prevention and treatment.
• To understand epilepsy, from the point of view of development, prevention and treatment.
• To evaluate the effect of the environment on diseases of the Central Nervous System.
