Course Content (Syllabus)
The visual message that carries a two-dimensional surface, such as a printed area or a screen, is the result of the arrangement of the information in that particular space. The way the human eye moves to the two-dimensional level, and thus captures the information, is indicated by the design, i.e. the organization of visual elements such as color, images, texts, vector graphics, etc. The purpose of the course is to educate students on the design and editing of computer graphics. The course, structured in theoretical lectures and practical exercises, focuses on the organization of visual elements on a printed area or a screen, and on the design and processing of computer graphics with the appropriate software. Because of its laboratory nature, the course has compulsory attendance and because of the limited lab positions it is required to register in a form of interest at the beginning of the semester.
