Course Content (Syllabus)
The concept of quality and total quality assurance. Testing the mechanical properties of wood. Standardization, accreditation and certification. Organizations and certification process. Wood abnormalities and timber grading. Certification of forest ecosystems (case study), wood and wood products. European standards and compliance requirements for wood products. Quality control of furniture and wood constructions.
