Course Content (Syllabus)
This course offers a survey of the history of translation from antiquity until today. It analyzes the landmarks and diachronically presents the cultural setting in which translation is integrated. Great figures of translators that have influenced translation thought are also profiled. Special emphasis is placed on the history of translation in the Greek and French speaking world.
