Course Content (Syllabus)
This course presents the applications of semiology to translation such as intersemiotic translation, the translation of polysemiotic or multimodal texts (advertisements, press cartoons, commercial signs, comics), the semiotics of subtitling, intericonic translation, transcreation through the approaches of translation semioticians.
