Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have achieved:
1. become familiar with the basic principles of the acting process
2. perform in front of an audience,
3. communicate with other actors on stage,
4. better understand space, time and rhythm,
5. creatively unleash their imagination,
6. better understand the requirements of a play and clearly define their stage objective, the objective of the action of the person to be performed.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to familiarize students with the basic principles of acting. Students will be asked to practice their technical tools (concentration, communication with others, body awareness, body awareness, spatial awareness, reaction readiness, response to rhythm, sharpening of imagination), as well as to realize how to collaborate with their fellow actors and actresses during the theatrical act. The next stage will be to apply this knowledge to a specific theatre text; scenes from Anton Chekhov's "Three Sisters" will be used. The aim will be to present all of this work in an open presentation in the last class, where students will be tested in front of an audience. The learning objectives of the course are: communication with other actors on stage, perception of space and time, release of the imagination, definition and clarity of the stage goal, interpretation of a theatrical persona, exposure of the actor before the audience.
