Learning Outcomes
The students familiarise themselves with the practice of Production Dramaturgy and the work of a Production Dramaturg in contemporary theatre. They also acquire skills in conducting dramaturgical research on a given prose text, discuss their findings and ultimately produce a full-length performance text.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to further familiarise the students with the practice of Production Dramaturgy and the work of a Dramaturg in contemporary theatre. At first, relevant performances are analyzed. At a later stage, the students, in groups, are asked to conduct dramaturgical research on a given text (prose fiction), discuss their findings and ultimately produce a full-length performance text.
