Student Assessment
Description
Students are assessed through their class participation (20%) and a written assignment (80%) completed in groups of two or three. The assignment is based on a film the students create as part of the directing workshop in the same semester, and it is structured around guiding sub-questions to support precise observation and analysis of the workshop film. In addition, students complete the shooting of one scene within a strict, uniform framework and set of parameters for everyone, so they can understand how audiovisual tools generate meaning in a scene. These works are screened and discussed during the last two lectures of the semester.
Student Assessment methods
  • Written Assignment (Formative)
  • Written Exam with Problem Solving (Formative)
  • Labortatory Assignment (Formative)
