Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: -Analyze basic concepts of religious, dedicated and pilgrimage tourism -Describe the plans for a polymorphic tourist development -Value the importance of linking religious tourism with cultural tourism and other forms of tourism of special interest

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course presents the main categories of tourism of special interest related to religious tourism. It also presents interdisciplinary the main data and challenges in the field of religious tourism at national and international level. It presents the theological, sociological and economic approach of religious monuments. It presents also basic methods of developing plans for the implementation of religious tourism.
