Learning Outcomes
The purpose of this course is to connect theory with practice and to develop professional skills for the physical, mental, social and emotional development of people with disabilities or special educational needs. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
• Evaluate the level of functionality and, in particular, the motor performance of students with disabilities or special educational needs
• Classify exercises, play and sports according to the functional level of students with disabilities or special educational needs, aiming to intervention
• Design and implement individual and group exercise programs to develop, improve and restore the physical and motor skills of students with disabilities or special educational needs with the ultimate goal of promoting their health, social inclusion and improving their quality of life.
• Collaborate with his/her fellow students to plan and implement exercise programs for students with disabilities or special educational needs
Course Content (Syllabus)
Description
1st:Scientific guidance, support and feedback of students concerning their practicum in general and special education school units, or in inclusion classes of general education school units where students with disabilities or with special educational needs attend.
2nd - 13th:Practicum with students with disabilities or special educational needs in general and special education school units, or in inclusion classes of general education school units.
