Learning Outcomes
•Assimilate the basic concept of ecosystem services and goods as a way of assessing grasslands and agro-forest systems •Identificate the different types of agro-forestry systems •Develop the agroforestry systems installation skills •Organize the ability of multi-dimensional management of agroforestry systems •Obtain the ability to update international developments, trends, and perspectives regarding current policies around agroforestry systems and rangeland ecosystems and environmental protection. •Acquire the ability to produce integrated management plans and their exploitation

Course Content (Syllabus)
Rangelands as social-ecological systems, Heterogeneity of rangeland ecosystems as the basis of management, Structural Composition and classification of Agroforestry systems, Technical establishment of Agroforestry Systems, Ecological consequences of climate change on utilization of rangeland and agroforestry ecosystems, Extensive livestock farming and exploitation of grasslands and Agroforestry systems. Multidimensional Management of ecosystem services for agroforestry and their exploitation.

Description
The evaluation of the course is based on the written examination of the course (80%) at the end of the semester. The exams of the course include multiple-choice questions and short/extended answers from the taught course material. Τhe review and presentation of an article (20%).
