Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes are identified in five areas/skills:
1. Listening comprehension: Can understand high-frequency phrases and words related to areas of immediate personal relevance. 2. Reading comprehension: Can read very short and simple texts related to their interests.
3. Spoken interaction: Can correctly use some simple structures but still consistently makes basic mistakes.
4. Spoken production: Can be understood through very short utterances, although pauses and false starts are particularly noticeable.
5. Written production: Can use basic sentence patterns with memorized phrases, word groups, and set expressions to convey limited information.
Course Content (Syllabus)
In this course, the teaching of the Italian language at level A2+ continues and is completed according to the specifications of the Common European Framework of Reference. This semester, Italian classes are also held once a week for three consecutive teaching hours and in co-teaching with other departments. The student can handle situations that are likely to arise while traveling in a country where the language is spoken. They can produce simple and short texts related to familiar topics or topics of interest. They can understand everyday expressions aimed at meeting simple and specific needs. They can describe experiences and events in a simple and concise manner and provide brief reasons and explanations for their opinions and plans. They can also understand the main ideas of a simple and short text. More specifically, students focus on the following grammatical phenomena (riflessione grammaticale): Simple and articulated prepositions Adverbs The particle ci The particle ne Conjunctions Indirect pronouns Imperative with indirect pronouns Simple future indicative (regular and irregular verbs) Relative pronouns Impersonal form (si/uno) Present progressive (stare + gerundio) Gerund Degrees of adjective comparison Real conditional sentences (Periodo ipotetico della realtà) Prefixes and suffixes Word formation (first part).
